Everyone has a story to tell in 2010. It has come to my knowledge that fashion is a story, and the designs are the mere pages in a book. These books are filled with creativity, color, shapes,and inspiration. Inspiration derived from many different places, such as: South American culture, Indian culture, the mod and hippie eras of the 60’s and 70’s, and so forth. Fashion will become very interesting. Thus seen from designers like, Anna Sui and Oscar de la Renta.
Fashion seems to be like a breath of fresh air. Some fabrics look like paintings with a romantic and poetic appeal. (As seen in a few looks of Anna Sui on the side). Fashion is taking the look from the 
past and revamping it in such a magnificent and different way. Designers such as Oscar de la Renta are pairing fabrics together that would not normally look like they mesh. Beautiful chiffon with ornaments and embellishments just scream symbolism in the least. Oscar de la Renta has also added safari looks to his collection with Latin inspired dresses (as seen below)

Fashion in the coming year will have an exciting Boho-glam look, with a glimpse from the past. Where you will see a play on not only patterns, but also fabrics and shapes. As many among us, I am very excited to see where fashion is headed. Some past collections has left me scratching my head wanting more. However, somehow next season will not just blow me way, but also inspire me as a future fashion designer. So lets get ready for exciting colors, fabrics, and shape for 2010. It will be a look back and one look ahead.
